This Privacy Policy applies to matchmakerno1.com, to matchmakerno1.com/ines-mokrani, and to any further MatchMaker No.1 website or landing page that refers to this document.

For you to be able to use our website, it must be technically provided and delivered. We use the no-code platform Onepage for this purpose. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser (e.g., IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and device type) to the extent necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. This data is processed exclusively within the EU and is typically deleted automatically within one month.

If you contact us via a contact form or by email, we process the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, phone number, company, message) solely to handle your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our application form lets you submit data in connection with a specific placement request, including your name, contact details, country, current position, industry, preferred location, desired type of employment, and an uploaded CV/resume. We use this data to contact you regarding this specific request and to prepare a possible placement.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Independently of any specific placement request, you may separately consent to being included in our Talent Pool, so that we can also consider you for future, not yet concrete, suitable positions. This consent is voluntary and independent of any specific application.

If you are included in the Talent Pool, we store your profile and CV for up to 24 months. Before this period expires, we will email you to ask whether you wish to renew your consent to remain in the Talent Pool. There is no automatic extension. If you do not renew, we delete your Talent Pool data after the period expires, unless another legal basis or statutory retention obligation requires us to keep specific data. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

If you would like to arrange a direct conversation with us, we offer online scheduling at several points on our website. We use the service Calendly (provider: Calendly, LLC, USA) for this purpose.

On our main website, this works via ordinary links that take you directly to Calendly.

On the landing page matchmakerno1.com/ines-mokrani, the calendar is not loaded when the page initially loads. Only when you actively click a scheduling call-to-action does it load inside an overlay; only at that point does the provider process data about your device and the information you enter to book an appointment.

Under our international Partner Programme, partners who already have an existing business relationship with a company or contact person can refer a specific business opportunity to us. The relevant contact person is aware of this referral to MatchMaker No.1 before their contact details are shared with us.

For these referrals, we provide partners with an online form (technically implemented through the service Jotform). This processes information about the referring partner and the business contact details of the referred contact person. Submitted data is stored for further processing in a spreadsheet within Google Workspace.

When we make first direct contact with the referred contact person, we identify ourselves as the controller and refer them to this Privacy Policy.

For some of the purposes described above, we use service providers headquartered, or operating parts of their infrastructure, in the United States (Calendly for scheduling; Jotform and Google Workspace for processing partner referrals). All three providers are, according to their own published documentation, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission apply in addition or as a fallback.

We generally retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Data from a specific placement request is deleted once that request has been concluded, unless a separate Talent Pool consent exists or longer retention is legally required.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data, a right to data portability, and a right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), which is competent for our registered seat, or the authority where you reside.

We update this Privacy Policy as our processing activities or the applicable law change.

In case of any discrepancy between the German and English version of this Privacy Policy, the German version shall prevail.
